Our Work
Nurses & Nursing
Our principal mission is to facilitate greater access to high-quality nursing education and support nursing schools in addressing the critical nursing workforce shortage. Through our nursing school grantees, we seek to:
- Remove financial impediments to a high-quality nursing education and career advancement
- Support the expansion and retention of nursing faculty and staff
- Improve retention in the nursing workforce and promote opportunities for re-entry to the nursing workforce
- Foster innovation in nursing education that facilitates practice-ready nurses
Health & Human Services
We also support Washington, D.C. and Nashua, NH area health and human services organizations that:
- Provide healthcare to at-risk populations
- Address food and housing insecurity
- Support pathways for sustainable and fulfilling employment
